Birth is such a unique experience for each couple. My doula and massage services are perfect for whatever birth experience you want to create. I love supporting women who want to have a natural childbirth, but I believe that medicated births are also an amazing experience. I have had much success using my doula skills, massage therapy, energy work, guided visualizations and sacred birthing practices for women who want to have a natural childbirth. I have relieved alot discomfort and stress. Birth can be beautiful experience with minimal pain.
My skills are also very beneficial for a woman who elects to use medication. Whether or not to use medication is a personal decision and no one can tell a woman what she should do for her birth. I honor a couples choices for their birth and offer compassionate, non-judgemental support. Birth is such an amazing experience no matter what choices you make. It is such an honor for me to be invited to a couple's birth.

"I have been a Massage Therapist for 8 years. I graduated from the Florida Academy of Massage & Skincare in 2001. I have had extensive training working in high-end spa and salon environments as well as fitness centers. I specialize in Swedish, Integrative, Pregnancy, Aromatherapy, and Hot Stone Massages. I also perform Energy work and Chakra Balancing.
My massage background and Doula experience can help a mother-to-be during the pregnancy as well as during the labor experience. I learned the art of assisting a women through childbirth in the Massage Doula program from the Institute of Somatic Therapy.
My combined massage therapy skills also enables me to perform my favorite massage service called the Full Circle- A Sacred Sedona Experience. About My Family
I am also a mother of 3 beautiful children. I had three very different births which each child. Richie is 8, I had him in a hospital. I was planning on getting an epidural with him, but things progressed too quickly and I missed the opportunity. Being my first child, I was very scared. I didn't know what to expect and I was terrified not to have any pain medicine. Fortunately, I had a wonderful Doula my Aunt by my side to help me through it. I couldn't have done it without her.
My second birth was my son Austin, he is now 3 years old. He was also a hospital baby, but I had an epidural with him. I have very mixed feelings about my experience with the epidural. Looking back on his birth, I wish I would have had a natural birth with him as well. But it was a good experience to have gone through it so that I am able to support my Doula clients who choose to receive one. For his birth I had a friend act as my doula, she was a real cheerleader.
My newest baby is a little girl named Jewelea, "Jewels", she is 18 months old. We decided to have a water birth with her at home with a Midwife & a Massage Doula. It was such a different and wonderful experience; I actually delivered her myself. I wish all my births were this way. It was such a beautiful, and very much, a spiritual experience. It was so peaceful after the birth. Nobody took her away from me; she was in the tub with me for 45 minutes. Then I was able to crawl into my own bed and just relax. Once again I was very fortunate to have a terrific Doula by my side. Having someone with a massage background made all the difference in the world. With her help, I was able to relax a lot more through the contractions. This allowed my labor to progress much more rapidly. Thank God!
All three births were so different, but they had one thing in common- I had very strong, confident, comforting women acting as my Doula. I don't think I would have made it through them without their help. This was why I decided to become a Doula myself. I want to do for other women, what they have done for me. It is truly a miracle and a honor to be invited to someone's birth. It brings me so much joy to be able to help bring souls into this world.
